Optimum PID controller for airplane wing tires based on gravitational search algorithm

In this paper, the gravitational search algorithm (GSA) is proposed as a method for controlling opening and closing of airplane wing tires. The GSA used to find optimum proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller, which controls tires during take-off landing. addition, suggested an approach overcoming absence transfer function, usually required design PID. use expected improve system. Two most popular optimisation algorithms-the harmony (HSA) particle swarm (PSO)-were sake comparison. Moreover, GSA-, HSA- PSO-based PID controllers were compared with one important tuning methods, Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) method. study, integral time absolute error (ITAE) was fitness function. First, four functions different applications compare performance GSA-based (PID-GSA), HSA-based (PID-HSA), (PID-PSO) Ziegler-Nichols-based (PID-ZN). Next, controller systems results reveal that provides better outcomes in terms ITAE when other adopted algorithms. Furthermore, demonstrates fast robust response reference variation.
